How does it all work?
Once you decide on the platform and license type Action Online offer a "complete package" approach
to your website. Once a design is created and types of pages are identified, templates are
constructed to house the content. Once these templates are constructed, folder structures,
content blocks and work-flow are carefully built to your requirements. The site architecture is
maintained within the system, allowing your staff to easily edit and update pages within the
structure. New pages can also be created and added and there are specific controls in place for
approval and publishing to the live website. Sites can be built and maintained in multiple
languages and have built in functionality ofr all types of Web 2.0 features. This allows for
strict chain of command to be maintained. The systems are flexible, easy to use and developed
with the non-technical user in mind. Once the templates are set up in the system, no HTML or
other programming knowledge is required - even to create new pages for your site. There is even
"in place" editing, where a user can click into any portion of a page and simply click to edit
it! Speaking of the editor, we only use 100% browser based editors, no installation on ant
computer required!.
